Canceling a request with approval leaves the approval pending

Summary

If a request with approval is canceled/closed and was not approved or declined, it will leave the approval pending.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a request with approval
2. Set the user to yourself
3. Cancel the request

Expected Results

Approval removed from the request.

Actual Results

Approval left pending

Workaround

Remove the approver from the approval field.

Notes

The same behaviour observed when Closing issue without approving.
